I start this new section since we have a friend from Argentina (Carlos) that has joined the forum and as a sign of respect this section will be strictly in English, so that our non-Greek speaking friends can have a chat in the forum. I urge Carlos and any other friend whose mother language is not Greek to post here!!!

Hello Everyone from around the world!!!


How are we all??  Greetings from Mr Bulldog...  It still amazes me, the amount of people all over the world who have joined the Bulldog army...  Welcome!


I know it's been a long time coming, but my very own section is now on the homepage and now I can rant and rave about the matches in my own way!!


Cup game on Wednesday night which should be good..  we have a point to prove against Apollon, so I want to see as many fans in the UK and around the world getting behind our team.. We haven't talked about a double yet, but it is still a possibility...


Oh, how I would love to celebrate a double...

We should welcome everybody who wishes to join APOEL family. Although it is closely linked to our national ideas, alien opinions are always welcome and useful.

Hey everybody

I'm from Belgium and i'm a fan from Paul Okon. Since he went to Apoel (last summer), I tried to follow what he has been doing. But it's not that simple. The language is very difficult, i don't speak any "Cypriotic'' (sorry i don't know what the right language on Cyprus is). It's also very hard to find a good translator on the internet.
So it's SUPER to have an english forum here .
Thanks already for some info about Paul.

Dear 'redsock' Cyprus is an island with a hellinistic history that dates back thousands of years and as a result the language, culture and religion of the majority of the population is the same as the Greek population. Of course there is the Cypriot dialect and certain differences in our culture but still these differences are minor. this is just to clarify your question of what language we speak.


Now unfortunately, as you might already know, Okon has left the team but still Kaklamanos and Solari that used to play in the Belgian league are playing for APOEL. In fact Solari is one of the fans favourite players and he has extended his contract for another two years.

Just a quick word on how pleased I am that there is a english speaking zone. I've been a Apoel fan for 10 years now I met some friends who seen me in a sports shop buying a Cyprus national shirt they made me change my mind and I got a APOEL shirt .I go to Cyprus twice a year I still get funny looks when I walk round Ayia Napa with my Apoel home & away shirts on.


I follow the bulldogs via your site and watch for the scores via livescore

Thank you for the websites for updates of Apoel score I do go to shooandgoal website and takisonline.com.The saints name is because Im from a town in Egnland called St Helens in Merseyside and our rugby team's  nickname are the saints  ( I would not support liverpool or everton ).


Looking  forward to the last 6 games to the victory and the title going back home after lending it to Famagusta for 12 months.

From what I can tell you are well informed about APOEL's progress over the past few years!!! That is really impressing considering the fact that you have only been to Cyprus a couple of times!! Hope you can get all the info you want from the site and you are able to follow the team on our road to Glory!

Gutted about last nite being english I did not know if the bulldogs deserved the defeat .But the season starts now  1st and 2nd meet next week points will be dropped the last week of the season could be a day of who scores the most.I can still see a cup title & double wish I was there.

none of the two teams performed well and a draw was a fair result for both teams (objectively). the bulldogs made a strong presence along with the crazy ornage fans but unfortunately we could not celebrate a victory.



now it is no longer up to us and that is really frustrating...

as i can see my team APOEL is getting known more around the world now.. and it really makes me happy that more people are recognizing the greatness and the importance of this team.. this team is like a second religion to us..

My Orthodox Brothers,

My name is Dejan, I am a Serb and a lifelong Red Star Belgrade fan, but I've been in Africa for the last 11 years. Finally I am coming back to live amongst my brothers, I will be in Cyprus next month to live and to work!

I can't wait to watch the matches at Apoel stadium! I'm losing sleep just thinking about it!

My name is Del.  I am a new fan of Apoel.  I think my friend Chris Creger is training with the team.  He is a goalkeeper.  It looks like yall are having a great season.  Is this the only site for Apoel that is in English.  Thanks.
